Cane Table Transformation

Just yesterday I posted a preview of a few furniture transformations I have up my sleeve...well here's that sweet little cane end table with soooo much potential! Jessica actually picked this guy up for me a few weeks before our visit! She KNEW I would love it....love is an understatement here...

I almost went with a shade of grey on this guy...but at the last moment I decided on a sweet cream.

It's just the right size to hold a few books beside the couch.

I love the carved rings on the little legs and the cane top adds so much interest to such a small table.

Just a little distressing around the edges and legs makes it look like it's been loved for years (and I'm sure it has been).

Just one more piece of furniture I hope I can find room for :)

Your little table looks so beautiful Becky! Great job. I am so happy that you loved it and that you gave it new life. You are going to run out of room soon hehe.
Love you

Jessica

Amazing what a coat of paint can do! I just recently painted (and distressed) an old bentwood rocker. I wish I had known a long time ago that you could really paint caning. It's gorgeous. Your table is darling. Really turned a dated piece into something fresh.
